Vidarbha farm widows urged PM to give Suit Auction Rs. Rs 4.31 crore for Relief Aid

Vidarbha farm widows urged PM to give Suit Auction Rs. Rs 4.31 crore for Relief  Aid
Dated-21 February 2015
News of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monogrammed bandhgala suit has been Friday sold off for Rs 4.31 crore at an auction has given little hope and smile to 11,000 more Vidarbha farm widows as they have urged PM Narendra Modi  to this money to for giving compensation from prime relief fund but denied by states due to stringent norms forcing families of farmers who killed themselves to face starvation due to ongoing agrarian  crisis in the west vidarbha cotton growing region ,Kishore Tiwari of farmers advocacy group Vidarbha Janandolan Samiti (VJAS) informed in press release today.
In a letter written by Bebibai Bais ,President Vidarbha Farm widows Association(VFWA) to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that all vidarbha farm widows are happy to see news about his The pin-striped navy blue suit that Modi wore for his Summit meeting with the US President Barack Obama on January 25 ,has been purchased for Rs 4.31 crore by Dharmananda Diamond Company's Lalji Patel and his son Hitesh Patel as money will go for the "Clean Ganga Mission' and The suit was among 455 items Modi had received as gift during his tenure as prime minister which were put up for sale during the 3-day auction by the Surat Municipal Corporation and likely to generate more fund too hence farm widows are requesting him divert this fund for Vidarbha farm widows rehabilitation.
Pleading our humble request before ,PM Vidarbha farmers dying widows has drawn existing huge budgetary  allotment for    "Clean Ganga Mission' project and huge provisioning in forth coming budget, the auction money will be drop in ocean but same amount will feed to thousands of farm widows and  spouses who are till dying relief compensation and are facing stravtion , Bebibai Bais of VFWA said in a letter .
Recently The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) issued a notice to the Maharashtra government over reports that families of 2,731 farmers, who committed suicide in the state in the year 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, were held "ineligible" to get compensation and spouses of 2,731 victims who were found ineligible to receive government aid are facing starvation and even after repeated demands  for an urgent review of the compensation system to strengthen the agrarian economy ,rejection rate of state Govt. is increased in last 8 months  of new NDA Govt., Bebibai Bais of VFWA drawn the attention  of the PM.
PM attention is also drawn to very gloomy situation in  Maharashtra as this year  Maharashtra the government officially declared that 60% of its villages were facing a severe drought of the century affecting almost 90 lakh farmers in state 23,811 of the state's 39,453 villages come in this category after complete kharif crop has been damaged adding fueled to existing farm crisis in the region where the highest number of farmer’s suicides reported in the country hence to address the very acute issue of farmers suicides it is critical time for  Indian Govt to give serious importance to agrarian crisis as more than 206 farmers suicides has been already been reported in 2015 and prevailing distress and despair is forcing deb trapped farmers to kill themselves where as their spouses are left fro starvation ,issue of farm widows and spouses has been completely neglected hence if PM announce that his suit auction fund will be utilized for the providing food ,medicine ,educational help to us ,will have much more impact that of "Clean Ganga Mission', Bebitai bais added.
