Other part drought hit  Maharashtra 8 farmers suicides have been reported six from marathwada and two from North  Maharashtra
These farm suicides are due to recent denial of  BJP-SS lead central and state Govt. that they can not keep poll promise of farm loan waiver and raising minimum support price (MSP) as per MODI’s own formula of investment plus profit coupled with  ongoing  bureaucratic delay in giving relief aid starving  famine suffering more than 2 crore rural pollution of Maharashtra,   Vidarbha Jan Andolan Samiti (VJAS) chief Kishire Tiwari said today.
‘we have contacted and given detailed presentation of Rs.40,000 crore crop damage and losses due market recession to Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadanvis on 28 Nov. and updated him very critical ground condition of Vidarbha and Marathawada coupled with North Maharashtra  prevailing actuate distress and pathetic condition of starving Maharashtra  rural community and urged him to stop ongoing  innocent farmers genocide but till date no disbursement of relief aid has begun ,Tiwari  added.
‘we are shocked to state of Govt. demand of Rs.3950 for more than 20,000 villages who are in grip of severe drought as their own declaration and official admission of Rs,50,000 croe economic losses of agrarian community due to crop failure and cotton and soybean poor market prices  ,this is ridiculous  hence we have given complete crop losses and agrarian distress management  plan to Govt. but Babus who are handling agrarian crisis since 2004 are misleading the Govt. and depeiving dying farmers from much more needed relief’Tiwari added.
VJAS recalled promise of PM Modiji of introducing the renowned farm scientist M S Swaminathan's formula for fixation of MSP which provides for cost plus 50 per cent remuneration to the farmers as the basis of fixation of MSP for agricultural crops should be looked into during the process of finalization of Union Budget for 2014-15 that is only way to make agriculture far more sustainable besides ensuring no farmer was compelled to either leave this occupation or commit suicide.
As most of distressed  Small and marginal farmers who committing suicide are debt trapped hence complete loan waiver and  Fresh interest free short term crop loans whereas other farmers should be given crop loans at 2 per cent, urging for one time debt relief package should be provided for all farmers, Tiwari added.

Globalization-Free trade besides Unpredictable rains with intermittent dry or wet droughts lead to crop failures and increasing cost of inputs and cultivation practices, mono-culture or dependence on a single crop only, poor awareness of agronomics, and lack of proper farm credit availability lead to an increased hold of private moneylenders are core issues Indian budget should address, Tiwari said .
