Another vidarbha cotton farmer committed suicide on ID when PM was addressing the Nation

Vidarbha agrarian crisis once again getting aggravated when young cotton farmer from village Khair(wadaki) in Ralegoan taluka of Yavatmal district  Naresh Pundlik Ingole (age 22) committed suicide in the morning when Indian prime minister Dr.Manmohansingh was addressing nation from red fort .as  per report Naresh ingole is small dry land cotton farmer who has  taken Rs.15000 crop loan on his 3 acre land but recent heavy rain  followed pest attack has damaged standing cotton crop ,he is 486th  vidarbha farmer who committed suicide this year 2012 earlier this week

committed suicide due agrarian crisis.,Vidarbha jandolan samiti who is documenting these suicides reported today.

‘in fact two of the farmers committed suicides when chief minister of Maharashtra was visiting vidarbha in review crop damages due to recent flood in yavatmal district.farmers who are credit starved initially did re sowing  due to delayed rain then they lost crop due heavy rain and now massive pest attack is damaging crop hence ground condition is grave hence we want central intervention on vidarbha agrarian crisis’Kishore Tiwari of VJAS informed today .

‘the all relief packages where addressed to irrigation project but money has been syphoned out by politicians hence we demand special income base package to dry land farmers of vidarbha giving much more thirst to food crop and sustainable agriculture’ Tiwari urged the Govt.
